2014-12-17sdl2: move sdl_update to new sdl2-2d.cGerd Hoffmann
Create new sdl2-2d file for 2d display rendering. Move over sdl_update code, and rename to sdl2_2d_update. Signed-off-by: Gerd Hoffmann <kraxel@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Max Reitz <mreitz@redhat.com>

2014-05-16input: key mapping helpersGerd Hoffmann
Add helper functions to translate KeyValue (qapi key representation) into other representations: traditional qemu key numbers, qapi key codes (Q_KEY_CODE_*) and scancode sequences. Signed-off-by: Gerd Hoffmann <kraxel@redhat.com>
2014-05-08build: convert some obj-specific CFLAGS to use new foo.o-cflags syntaxMichael Tokarev
Current Makefile system allows using foo.o-cflags variables to store object-specific CFLAGS. Convert some usages of old syntax (using QEMU_CFLAGS += construct) to the new syntax. Do not touch multifile modules for now, as build system isn't ready for this. Signed-off-by: Michael Tokarev <mjt@tls.msk.ru> Signed-off-by: Paolo Bonzini <pbonzini@redhat.com>
2014-03-05ui/sdl2 : initial port to SDL 2.0 (v2.0)Dave Airlie
I've ported the SDL1.2 code over, and rewritten it to use the SDL2 interface. The biggest changes were in the input handling, where SDL2 has done a major overhaul, and I've had to include a generated translation file to get from SDL2 codes back to qemu compatible ones. I'm still not sure how the keyboard layout code works in qemu, so there may be further work if someone can point me a test case that works with SDL1.2 and doesn't with SDL2. Some SDL env vars we used to set are no longer used by SDL2, Windows, OSX support is untested, I don't think we can link to SDL1.2 and SDL2 at the same time, so I felt using --with-sdlabi=2.0 to select the new code should be fine, like how gtk does it. v1.1: fix keys in text console v1.2: fix shutdown, cleanups a bit of code, support ARGB cursor v2.0: merge the SDL multihead patch into this, g_new the number of consoles needed, wrap DCL inside per-console structure. Signed-off-by: Dave Airlie <airlied@redhat.com> Fixes & improvements by kraxel: * baum build fix * remove text console logic * adapt to new input core * codestyle fixups Signed-off-by: Gerd Hoffmann <kraxel@redhat.com>

2013-10-16ui/Makefile.objs: delete unnecessary cocoa.o dependencyPeter Maydell
Delete an unnecessary dependency for cocoa.o; we already have a general rule that tells Make that we can build a .o file from a .m source using an ObjC compiler, so this specific rule is unnecessary. Further, it is using the dubious construct "$(SRC_PATH)/$(obj)" to get at the source directory, which will break when $(obj) is redefined as part of the preparation for per-object library support. 2013-02-26Ensure x_keymap.o is built when GTK is enabledDaniel P. Berrange
The x_keymap.o file is required by both GTK and SDL builds, so it must be explicitly listed as a GTK dep to ensure the linker works when SDL is disabled Signed-off-by: Daniel P. 2013-02-21ui: add basic GTK gui (v5)Anthony Liguori
This is minimalistic and just contains the basic widget infrastructure. The GUI consists of a menu and a GtkNotebook. To start with, the notebook has its tabs hidden which provides a UI that looks very similar to SDL with the exception of the menu bar. The menu bar allows a user to toggle the visibility of the tabs. Cairo is used for rendering. I used gtk-vnc as a reference. gtk-vnc solves the same basic problems as QEMU since it was originally written as a remote display for QEMU. So for the most part, the approach to rendering and keyboard handling should be pretty solid for GTK. 2013-01-21vnc: added initial websocket protocol supportTim Hardeck
This patch adds basic Websocket Protocol version 13 - RFC 6455 - support to QEMU VNC. Binary encoding support on the client side is mandatory. Because of the GnuTLS requirement the Websockets implementation is optional (--enable-vnc-ws). To activate Websocket support the VNC option "websocket"is used, for example "-vnc :0,websocket". The listen port for Websocket connections is (5700 + display) so if QEMU VNC is started with :0 the Websocket port would be 5700. As an alternative the Websocket port could be manually specified by using ",websocket=<port>" instead. Parts of the implementation base on Anthony Liguori's QEMU Websocket patch from 2010 and on Joel Martin's LibVNC Websocket implementation. 2012-12-22build: fix includes for VNCPaolo Bonzini
vnc-tls.h is included by vnc.h, and it includes gnutls/gnutls.h. Hence, GnuTLS header files are needed by all files that include vnc.h, most notably qmp.c. Move these flags to QEMU_CFLAGS for simplicity. 2012-06-27Remove support for non-threaded VNC serverDaniel P. Berrange
QEMU now has a fundamental requirement for pthreads, so there is no compelling reason to retain support for the non-threaded VNC server.
