2021-05-14configure: Poison all current target-specific #definesThomas Huth
We are generating a lot of target-specific defines in the *-config-devices.h and *-config-target.h files. Using them in common code is wrong and leads to very subtle bugs since a "#ifdef CONFIG_SOMETHING" is not working there as expected. To avoid these issues, we are already poisoning many of the macros in include/exec/poison.h - but it's cumbersome to maintain this list manually. Thus let's generate an additional list of poisoned macros automatically from the current config switches - this should give us a much better test coverage via the different CI configurations. Note that CONFIG_TCG (which is also defined in config-host.h) and CONFIG_USER_ONLY are special, so we have to filter these out. 2021-05-14include/sysemu: Poison all accelerator CONFIG switches in common codeThomas Huth
We are already poisoning CONFIG_KVM since this switch is not working in common code. Do the same with the other accelerator switches, too (except for CONFIG_TCG, which is special, since it is also defined in config-host.h). 2021-05-12Remove the deprecated moxie targetThomas Huth
There are no known users of this CPU anymore, and there are no binaries available online which could be used for regression tests, so the code has likely completely bit-rotten already. It's been marked as deprecated since two releases now and nobody spoke up that there is still a need to keep it, thus let's remove it now. 2021-03-09Remove deprecated target tilegxThomas Huth
TILE-Gx was only implemented in linux-user mode, but support for this CPU was removed from the upstream Linux kernel in 2018, and it has also been dropped from glibc, so there is no new Linux development taking place with this architecture. For running the old binaries, users can simply use older versions of QEMU. 2019-02-21vhost-net: compile it on all targets that have virtio-net.Paolo Bonzini
This shows a preexisting bug: if a KVM target did not have virtio-net enabled, it would fail with undefined symbols when vhost was enabled. 2018-08-28ppc: Remove deprecated ppcemb targetThomas Huth

2017-07-04include/exec/poison: Mark CONFIG_KVM as poisoned, tooThomas Huth
CONFIG_KVM is only defined for target-specific code, so nobody should use it by accident in common code. To avoid such subtle bugs, CONFIG_KVM is now marked as poisoned in common code. The header include/sysemu/kvm.h is somewhat special since it is included all over the place from common code, too, so we need some extra logic via "#ifdef NEED_CPU_H" here to make sure that we can compile all files without problems.
