2017-09-14hmp: introduce 'info memory_size_summary' commandVadim Galitsyn
Add 'info memory_size_summary' command which is a sibling of QMP command query-memory-size-summary. It provides the following memory information in bytes: * base-memory - size of "base" memory specified with command line option -m. * plugged-memory - amount of memory that was hot-plugged. If target does not have CONFIG_MEM_HOTPLUG enabled, no value is reported. 2016-10-30COLO: Add 'x-colo-lost-heartbeat' command to trigger failoverzhanghailiang
We leave users to choose whatever heartbeat solution they want, if the heartbeat is lost, or other errors they detect, they can use experimental command 'x_colo_lost_heartbeat' to tell COLO to do failover, COLO will do operations accordingly. For example, if the command is sent to the Primary side, the Primary side will exit COLO mode, does cleanup work, and then, PVM will take over the service work. If sent to the Secondary side, the Secondary side will run failover work, then takes over PVM's service work. 2015-06-02monitor: Use traditional command interface for HMP device_addMarkus Armbruster
All QMP commands use the "new" handler interface (mhandler.cmd_new). Most HMP commands still use the traditional interface (mhandler.cmd), but a few use the "new" one. Complicates handle_user_command() for no gain, so I'm converting these to the traditional interface. For device_add, that's easy: just wrap the obvious hmp_device_add() around do_device_add(). monitor_user_noop() is now unused, drop it. 2015-02-18hmp: Name HMP command handler functions hmp_COMMAND()Markus Armbruster
Some are called do_COMMAND() (old ones, usually), some hmp_COMMAND(), and sometimes COMMAND pointlessly differs in spelling. Normalize to hmp_COMMAND(), where COMMAND is exactly the command name with '-' replaced by '_'. Exceptions: * do_device_add() and client_migrate_info() *not* renamed to hmp_device_add(), hmp_client_migrate_info(), because they're also QMP handlers. They still need to be converted to QAPI. * do_memory_dump(), do_physical_memory_dump(), do_ioport_read(), do_ioport_write() renamed do hmp_* instead of hmp_x(), hmp_xp(), hmp_i(), hmp_o(), because those names are too cryptic for my taste. * do_info_help() renamed to hmp_info_help() instead of hmp_info(), because it only covers help. 2013-07-15block: add drive_backup HMP commandStefan Hajnoczi
Make "drive_backup" available on the HMP monitor: drive_backup [-n] [-f] device target [format] The -n flag requests QEMU to reuse the image found in new-image-file, instead of recreating it from scratch. The -f flag requests QEMU to copy the whole disk, so that the result does not need a backing file. Note that this flag *must* currently be passed since the other sync modes ('none' and 'top') have not been implemented yet. Requiring it ensures that "drive_backup" behaves like "drive_mirror".
