2021-03-12README: Add Documentation blurbJohn Snow
Add it in a prominent place: Right after figuring out what QEMU is, users may wish to know how to use it more than they want to know how to build their own version of it. 2021-02-24docs: move CODING_STYLE into the developer documentationAlex Bennée
There is no particular reason to keep this on it's own in the root of the tree. Move it into the rest of the fine developer manual and fixup any links to it. The only tweak I've made is to fix the code-block annotations to mention the language C. 2021-02-09docs: update README to use GitLab repo URLsStefan Hajnoczi
qemu.org is running out of bandwidth and the QEMU project is moving towards a gating CI on GitLab. Use the GitLab repos instead of qemu.org (they will become mirrors). 2020-10-27CHANGELOG: remove disused fileJohn Snow
There's no reason to keep this here; the versions described are ancient. Everything here is still mirrored on https://wiki.qemu.org/ChangeLog/old if anyone is curious; otherwise, use the git history. 2019-09-05docs: merge HACKING.rst contents into CODING_STYLE.rstDaniel P. Berrangé
The split of information between the two docs is rather arbitary and unclear. It is simpler for contributors if all the information is in one file. Reviewed-by: Alex Bennée <alex.bennee@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Daniel P. Berrangé <berrange@redhat.com>
