In my previous commit I forgot to mention that 'pkg_add -r bind' is only half the rationale for changing PORTNAME. The other half is so that people who really want to can 'pkg_add -r bind9'.

Thread support is still considered experimental.

Many of the bugs are related to memory allocation, and some of BIND's newer features like TSIG, IXFR, etc. Users particularly interested should take a look at the CHANGES file (see below). Perhaps the most significant change is the introduction of EDNS0, the ability to negotiate capabilities between servers. This feature was previously only available in BIND 9. Whether this is a good idea or not is yet to be seen. Install more of the documentation, and wrap it all in PORTSDOCS.
